WHAT IS SUSHI?
Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice, usually with some sugar and salt, accompanied by a variety of ingredients, such as seafood, often raw, and vegetables. Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely.
To become a sushi chef, it takes years of training. To enjoy homemade sushi, it only takes one lesson at FoodCraft!!!
Join our class to learn all about the basics and tricks in making sushi at home to enjoy with friends and family.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
- How to cook sushi rice
- How to make Vegan Hoso-maki (thin maki rolls)
- How to make a basic Nigiri-sushi
- How to make a Gunkan-maki
- How to make Temari-zushi
- How to marinate and flavor the fish
In this class, we will be focusing on how to cook the rice, how to make different shapes of sushi and how to marinate the raw fish. We will NOT be cutting the fish in this class.

Please come hungry as you will be eating at least 10 pieces of sushi in this class!

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
We will confirm your seat(s) once all fees are received. The deadline for any cancellation or changes is 7 days prior to the scheduled date of the event. All fees will become non-refundable after the deadline. Cancellation requests should be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the class for any refund to be processed.
*The policy applies to sign-ups within the 7-day period before the scheduled event
