WHAT IS GLUTEN? AND WHY IS GLUTEN-FREE IMPORTANT?
Gluten is a protein present in grains. Wheat, barley and rye. These proteins are hard to digest and irritates the gut makes scars on the lining of the gut which causes inflammatory responses. Some might have an obvious response and some with less. Even people without celiac disease can benefit from a gluten-free diet.
Many people tend to have a mild intolerance or sensitivity towards gluten which may show in the form of bloating, headaches, fatigue or diarrhea. If that if you, you might want to try excluding gluten from your diet and see how that works. Gluten-free diet might help with improving your quality of life.
In this class we will start with learning about what contains gluten and what can be the alternative flours or ingredients that can be used for gluten-free cooking. The snacks were developed for a kindergarten and it is also dairy-free and nut-free so suitable for school snacks and also for those on a gluten free and casein free diet. Enjoy making and eating this with your family!

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
We will confirm your seat(s) once all fees are received. Deadline for any cancellation or changes(eg. rescheduling) is 7 days prior to the scheduled date of the event. All fees will become non-refundable after the deadline. Cancellation requests should be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the class for any refund to be processed.
