Why is gluten free baking so hard?
Gluten-free baking can be challenging due to the absence of gluten, a protein that provides structure and elasticity. Without gluten, achieving the same texture and rising can be difficult. Alternative flours and binders require precise measurements and experimentation. Patience and understanding the science behind gluten-free ingredients are key for successful results.
Bake your gluten-free pita bread and eat it!
In this hands-on class, we will demonstrate step-by-step instructions on how to make gluten-free pita bread and the necessary techniques involved. By the end of the class, you will have your own handcrafted gluten-free pita bread, as well as a vegan and gluten-free pita sandwich. Additionally, you will receive a recipe to take home with you.
*This will be a hands-on class. You will be kneading, rounding, shaping and proofing the dough and bake - Please bring your apron!

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
We will confirm your seat(s) once all fees are received. Deadline for any cancellation or changes(eg. rescheduling) is 7 days prior to the scheduled date of the event. All fees will become non-refundable after the deadline. Cancellation requests should be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the class for any refund to be processed.
