Chickpea Doubanjiang (Mild Spice) - 240g
Doubanjiang (豆瓣醬) is an essential condiment to make the famous Mapo tofu dish. It is a fermented bean paste that is a bit sweet, salty sour and spicy.
Many of the doubanjian sauces that are available on the market have a bit much additives, low quality oils and animal products used in it.
And that is why we made our very own FoodCraft Doubanjiang.
We kept the ingredients minimal. Used our own organic chickpea miso to recreate that fermented bean taste and boosed the flavor with garlic slowly simmered in toasted sesame oil.
Our Doubanjiang is absolutely vegan. Made in small batches to keep it fresh. This is not a very spicy sauce but a mild spicey sauce.
We used 9 ingredients only.
No additives or preservatives are used.
